Project 2018
The road is full of surprises. There are the projects that we plan and those that come to us out of the blue.
In Georgia and in Iran, Alain’s problems with his knees obliged us to change our plans, or more precisely, the timing.
In 2018, we will continue « The Route » but with a few changes.
It is true that in view of our improved physical condition, we could have tried to start again with our bikes, and in fact everything would have been simpler. Nonetheless, is not the most important thing to live the journey
Consequently, it is with our old Land Cruiser and a paraglider, that we return to our initial objective : travel through Central Asia and stop in Mongolia to spend the winter in a small village and share the local people’s everyday life.
After this long stop we are planning to head east… but in the end, time will tell.
